New Beginnings

Unusual trading conditions still lingering from the aftermath of the Covid worldwide pandemic, is cause for long term delays and some cancellations to plans.

Heading positively forward from a challenging period of my own health issues during recent years, fundamental decisions were taken to concentrate a continuing media career in broadcast scriptwriting, and authoring a range of books.

This concludes a two-and-a-half decades foray into broadcast production alongside mainstream journalism.

CBM has a revised project portfolio and new business model post-Covid lockdowns, with the majority of project Intellectual Property Rights (IPR’s) now owned by collaborative Dutch production partners.

I am guiding Concrete Butterflies Media positively forward on a different pathway, personally retaining book publishing rights to all projects past, and those illustrated on this website.

It has been an arduous journey, but I am keenly aware of so many more folk far worse off than my own misfortunes, so we count our blessings and use the stumbling blocks as stepping stones. Delighted to be on the cusp of producing the best of creative work.

Never forgotten is the massive adrenaline rush and feeling of creative fulfilment gained from my first BBC and ITV broadcast documentaries. However, the time is right for change to a less stressful lifestyle.

The only constant is change itself.
